This I believe is quintessential Leon.
As opposed to so many other (dare I say, virtuall, ALL OTHER?) self-appointed fashionista, Leon does not LOOK for the ugly -- he looks for the beautiful. And he helps we fashion-challenged urbanites capitalize on our strengths.
While others would laugh off the first subject's hat, Leon simply mandates its removal -- and then compliments her for her beautiful, formerly hidden, hair and face.
THAT is what a style expert should do: no silk purses of sow's ears -- but a realistic approach to working with what you have, and making you feel GLORIOUS about your innate gifts.
